Total Quality Management
At Hindustan Scale Company we strictly follow Total Quality Management (TQM). Our Total quality management or TQM policy is an integrative philosophy of management for continuously improving the quality of products and processes. TQM functions at our premises that the quality of products and processes is the responsibility of everyone who is involved with the creation or consumption of the products or services offered by an organization. TQM capitalizes on the involvement of management, workforce, suppliers, and even customers, in order to meet or exceed customer expectations. Our general practices on Total Quality Management are cross-functional product design, process management, supplier quality management, customer involvement, information and feedback, committed leadership, strategic planning, cross-functional training, and employee involvement.
Quality Process
The Quality of the Weighing Instruments is checked during all the Manufacturing stages. Thousands of parts are made each day, and every component is checked and inspected properly. Consequently, time to time we take random samples of a weighing instrument and check to ensure that they meet set specifications for size, shape, and consistency. The primary testing method is a repeatability and accuracy test although more rigorous measurements are also made. Secondary testing is performed by various types of measuring equipment.
Quality tests are performed on all the electronic components of the weighing instruments. After all the components come together in the weighing instrument and its finally assembled, it is taken to the Quality Control (QC) laboratory for testing. Physical and Electronic characteristics are checked to make sure the batch adheres to the specifications outlined as per our quality manifesto.
